How do i retrieve the email address of a deleted blog?

  I have revamped my blog and want to change the administrator email address. I mistakenly deleted a previous version (ballenastech) but before doing that, i changed the email address. Now to change the new blog (viupsycstats) email address it won’t change because the previous blog still has the email address i need. When deleting the ballenastech blog, it stored the email address, which i now need to free up.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there – The username ballenastech was deleted and can never be used again, but the email address on that account should be free. What email are you trying to change yours to? (It will appear as redacted in the public forum, but I’ll be able to see it.)

  Well i’m the administrator for viupsychstats.wordpress.com. What i did was reconfigure that blog from its former ballenastech to the now viupsychstats. The email address i used was (email visible only to moderators and staff). That was when i was a teacher at ballenas high school. Now a stats tutor at VIU, my email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  I want to remove the bckitsboy email and use the viustatshelp@hotmail account. If it’s possible…

  Hi Pat – It looks like you have two different WordPress.com accounts. You have your current account, viustatstutor, and then you have a second account, viustatshelp.

  The account viustatshelp is using your current email address that you want to change the email for viustatstutor to. To fix this, you should log out as viustatstutor and log in as viustatshelp, and change that email to something else and confirm it.

  Then, you’ll be able to change the email for viustatstutor to your current one.

  However, please note that while your viustatstutor is an admin on your current blog, viustatshelp is the actual owner. So if you don’t plan to use the viustatshelp account anymore, you should transfer the blog to viustatstutor in this way:

  Does that clear things up? I know this is rather confusing, so let me know if you have further questions.
