We need a link to the blog please. We need to be sure you mean posts and not pages.

    Pages vs. Posts

I am new at this. Fortunately, WordPress is an intuitive learning curve.

Someone else set up this empty blog site several years ago. I have agreed to be responsible for bringing it to life. I read timethief’s link to post-vs-page link. It appears that I have everything in a string on the home page. I figured out how to make one post “sticky”.

It looks like I now need to make more pages. The widget categories, I’ve discovered aren’t separate pages. That’s probably what would solve my problem.

The 6 “about the musicians” posts should be on a static page. Is there an easy way to make this conversion?

Also, the “public profile” data: should that be about me or should it be about the CVSL organization that I am blogging for?

Soooo… when you write that you need a link to the blog do you mean the address? It’s http://(email visible only to moderators and staff)/.

    Hello there again,
Thanks for the link. For your information URLs don’t contain @ that only found in email addresses. This is the correct URL for the blog http://cvsl.wordpress.com/

In a blog there is only one running page that will display our posts, not pages. They will be displayed in reverse chronological order by dates stamp and this cannot be reversed.

There is no automatic means of transferring content from posts to pages. It’s a create a static and copy and paste content manually into it process. How to create a page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/

The theme being used on the blog is one that lacks a top navigational menu. You must place the Pages widget in the sidebar in order to access the links for Pages. Appearance > Widgets

Profile > Your User Profile at WordPress.com can be accessed via Users -> My Profile in your dashboard:
