How do I revise the url “http://stock-market-perspectives.com/purpose-2/” to eliminate the “-2”. I attempted to accomplish this by editing the Permalink but this did not work.

Hey there,
If you’ve created multiple pages with the same name, you’ll find that a number (like -2) is appended to your URL. Slug names must be original on each site.
I see this is the case with your site, as you’ve placed a page called Purpose in the trash.
My suggestion is to restore this page from the trash, and paste all the content from “purpose-2” into it. Then save it. Once that’s done, the original Purpose page will have the URL without the -2 at the end. You can delete the -2 page, if you’d like, or give it another name altogether.
