How do I save a tag once I've chosen it?

  I cannot get past Day One in the course because I can’t get tags to “stick”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Tags only “stick” to published posts that they are assigned to. Have you published a post with one or more tags assigned to it?

  I need to correct/amend the first sentence in my initial post here. Tags may be applied to draft posts, but if you have no published posts with a particular tag, then that tag will not appear in the Tag Cloud Widget, and the will be no Tag Archives page associated with that tag.

  What exactly do you mean by getting a tag to “stick?”

  By stick, I meant appear at the bottom. And you helped me see the problem. Without any published posts, I don’t have have an inventory of tags to place on draft post.
