How do I save text added to a new page
-
I am new to WordPress. I have a home page and have managed to add 4 more pages. When I go into a new page and click on EDIT in bottom RH corner, I can populate with text, but there is no option to SAVE or PUBLISH.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @juliesinquirylearningjourney,
The “Publish” and “Update” Button appears in a blue button in the upper right corner? You edits are “autosaved” every few seconds.

In the upper right hand corner, I have Preview, Page Settings and Publish, but Preview and Publish are light grey and cannot be clicked.

I don’t know how to check which browser or version. I have Mozilla and Internet Explorer on my computer, but not sure which one I am using.

@juliesinquirylearningjourney,
You can tell which browser you are using by glancing at the toolbar on the top of your screen.
Once you have added text to your page, the grey “Publish” button (on the upper right hand side of the page) should turn blue. This indicates that you can publish your page right away.
You can see an example of how this looks here:

@juliesinquirylearningjourney,
you can go to http://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ and it will tell you…Also, you can go to…
https://juliesinquirylearningjourney.wordpress.com./wp-admin/
to enter the full version of WordPress, and I believe more reliably edit and save your content. It is a little different editing experience, but should be fairly straight forward.If it turns out you are in internet explorer (from above link), open your Mozilla browser and edit there…
You can copy and paste your content into a word processing editor to save it for now, until you get the situation stable.

@juliesinquirylearningjourney,
I had a period in the URL by accident. Use this url instead to edit your pages.

I must be using Internet Explorer, as all of my icons on the toolbar are for IE. I have read through the link that you sent, but can’t find the PUBLISH BOX.

@juliesinquirylearningjourney,
Internet Explorer can cause some problems. I’d move to your Mozilla Browser instead, as it won’t have as many issues.Are you able to edit and save now?
