How do I save visual editor as the default?
-
Every time I open up my editor, it shows the text editor. I don’t know how to code, so I use the visual editor. It is time consuming as well as annoying to switch back to visual every time I add content, save, and reopen. I have no idea why the editor suddenly began to open in text mode, but it happened around the same time as you changed a few other features, so I suspect that has something to do with it. WordPress has become very buggy, lately, and I am tired of struggling with it. If I cannot find a way to save visual editing as the default, I am going somewhere else.

Your editor preference should be saved in a cookie; when you click on the Visual Editor tab, the browser tries to remember that you prefer the Visual, and not Text, mode. Do you have any cookie management browser plugins installed that might be circumventing this?
