How do I search within a blog?
-
I’d like to find a conversation on thetotebag.wordpress.com in which we discussed options for very bright kids, including programs run by Johns Hopkins. When I search for site:thetotebag.com Hopkins the hundreds of hits are from lots of different blogs, not just the totebag. What should I do differently?
Thanks!

Hello saacnmama,
When I do the search, there are 18 hits, all from thetotebag.wordpress.com. Click this link to see the results of my search on the same term – Hopkins: Google Search site:thetotebag.wordpress.com hopkins.

You can also use “omnisearch” http://en.support.wordpress.com/omnisearch/
The WordPress.com search engine indexes only the body text of posts, pages, and comments content. Searches for keywords found only in the blog name, post titles, and post/comment author names will not appear unless they are also contained in the body text. http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/
