How do I send email subscribers a summary, not the full text?

  Hello – I’ve seen this answer in the forum to another blogger’s same question: go to Settings -> select Summary -> save. I’ve gone through every subsection in Settings and can’t find a place to choose that. Does the Twenty Eleven theme support this option? I write long posts and have lots of photos, so it would be so much better if everyone viewed them on the blog. Thanks.

  Also, is there a way to only have the summaries on the blog page like when I go through Reader? so people can scroll through my offerings quicker? Thanks.

  Hi there,

  Please go to Settings > Reading in your Dashboard and then set: For each article in a feed, show to Summary. Then you should only see the summaries in email notifications and in the Reader.
