how do I send my domain name to squarespace.com

  I have set up my square space website and ~I want to transfer my domain name to my new site on square space but It will not connect it instead it goes to my old word press page please help urgently as I have to have it live by monday thank you and kind regards

  Hi Patrick,

  Please check out instructions on Squarespace’s end to link your WordPress.com domain name:
  http://help.squarespace.com/guides/domain-mapping-with-wordpress

  They have a very specific methodology you must follow. While I see that you’ve added your A records here at WordPress.com, I do not see the CNAME records as they’ve instructed you add in step 3 & 4 of their instructions, “Step 3 – Add the First CNAME / Step 4 – Add the Second CNAME.”

  I do recommend completing those steps in the order they have provided them. Let me know once you’re done…and how it works out. An FYI, while it usually takes place much faster, it can take up to 72-hours for domain settings changes to propagate throughout the internet.
