How Do I Send Out an Abreviated Version of My Posts?

    Jetpack kindly sends out my new posts to everyone who has added their name to the email list.

    But I cannot find the settings to make it send out just the first 20 lines say, not the whole thing. Can anyone advise?

    Also, I have a rolling page that is added to several times a week with an additional 1,000 words or more. How do I get Jetpack to advertise that – as technically speaking it is not a “new post” but an existing page? Any advice welcome.

    That site linked to your WordPress.com username is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. It is a WordPress.org install. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. I suggest looking for an answer to your question here first. http://jetpack.me/support/ If you do not find one then the Jetpack forum is at WordPress.org http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.
