How do I separate sections of our blog?

    We have (for us) a successful blog. It effectively shares our adventures with family & friends. My question is how do I create a new section?
    In particular, I wish to have separate heading for each adventure we take in retirement. Under the heading would be a collection of postings.

    Is there a specific link or instruction that can tune me into the syntax?

    Hi there! It sounds like you may find categories useful for this – they’re a method of organising your posts into different topics; and for each category you create, your blog will also create a dedicated category page where the posts assigned to that category will appear. The category pages don’t appear in Pages > All Pages, but you can add them to the menu at the top of your blog, so that visitors can easily find them.

    When you have a few categories created, you’d want to go to Appearance > Customize > Menus > your menu in order to link them so they’re easily visible to visitors:
