How do I set a page I created to be my homepage?

    I accidentally deleted my original home page. I created a new page and titled it ‘home’ but my site seems to default me to a static blank blog page as my main site page. How do I make the page I created my main site page/landing page?

    hi @maggiegh,

    on your dashboard go to settings then click on Reading and at the right side, you can change the option to a static page, and there below by the Homepage, you can select the page you want.

    Hi there,

    Your site isn’t showing your home page, because all the pages on your site are set to private. Private pages are only visible to site admins, and cannot be used as the front page of the site.

    Go to Pages ->All Pages, edit each page, and change the visibility to public. Then you’ll be able to see the pages, and also set one of the front page.

    If you don’t want your site to be visible for now while you still work on it, you can set the entire site as private instead under Settings ->General.
