How do I set a widget to be at the top of my page on chunk theme?

  I’m new to blogging but when I add widgets it only adds them as footers, there is no option to have them to the side of the page or top- can someone tell me how to do this?
  I am on the chunk theme.

  That’s the way the theme is designed. If you need a sidebar, you need a different theme.
