How do I set images to public?

  • Unknown's avatar

I participate in some link parties using InLinkz. Starting last Friday, none of these will let me upload a link to my post because the image from my page does not load correctly. I never had this problem before! When I click the button to post my link, that button says, “Error grabbing” and then a dialog box comes up:
“Image not valid, too big or probably not an image?… Please retry
Please make sure the image is publicly accessible
If problem persists, upload image from your computer”
But I get this same error if I upload the image from my hard drive, or if I enter the image URL, instead of selecting from the images that InLinkz automatically detects on my page.

This is the image I am trying to use:

What do I do to make images “publicly accessible”?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello there!

It appears as if you’re attempting to use a link that includes the dimension of the image. Please try to use the actual permalink to your image:

Let me know how that works for you.

Since the error message is from another site, if this doesn’t fix your issue, you may have to get the specifics of the problem from InLinkz. Once I know more, I can help further.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.
