How do I set my new blog to the same theme as my old one

I’ve set up a new blog using a different e-mail address, as I wanted it to be separate from my current one. I really wanted it to be the same theme, but I can’t see how to do it. The defaults have changed since I set up my original one, and I can’t use them. When I try to type anything, the editing bar (showing bold, underline, etc) doesn’t come up. I gather that I need to press classic editor, but I can’t see how to get it to default to that every time, rather than having to do it every time I do anything. Also, my original blog just shows a small picture in the top left hand corner, but I can’t see how to do that now – every theme I try shows the picture as an enormous thing taking up the whole screen, and I just want a thumbnail. I’ve tried customising the theme, but all that shows up under theme options is something about displaying estimated reading time. How do I set it to the theme I’ve got in my existing blog? Thanks. If I can’t do that, is anyone at least able to tell me how to default to classic editor and how to get a small thumbnail picture rather than an enormous one? Thanks!

OK, I’ve sorted the picture issue, but I’m struggling to work out how to get it to default to classic editor – any help gratefully received! Or just how to get it to the same theme as my original one – I can’t see how to tell which theme the original one uses, and I set it up years ago so can’t remember!

The new sites are set to use the new Block Editor by default. Why would you like to use the Classic Editor? The Block one gives you way more possibilities to customize each page or post. Here you can find more information about the editor:

I can’t cope with the block editor – the formatting bar (bold, underlining, insert photos) etc doesn’t appear unless I click on “classic editor”, and it’s very hard to write without it.
