How do I set the Mx records correctly?

  My domain and email hosting company has given me the following Mx record to set, but it doesn’t seem to work.

  mail.hover.com.cust.hostedemail.com

  I’ve tried MX 10 mail.hover.com.cust.hostedemail.com & MX 10 hover.com.cust.hostedemail.com and none of it works. Please advise.

  Is that all they sent you? I recommend asking again for the full DNS MX record, including priority number (and it may not be 10).
