How do I set up a gmail account to use the same domain as my WordPress blog?

  I want to use the domain that my blog is currently hosted at (mykwillis.com) for email in addition to the blog. The domain was registered via WordPress.com. I want to use Google Apps with Gmail for my email, and Google suggests that I add a TXT record to my DNS information for mykwillis.com to prove I own the domain, or else upload a file to the web server at this domain. I can’t figure out how to do either of these things through the WordPress interfaces — can you help?
