I am using the free template Sight which features a home page slider/carosel yet I am unable to figure out how to set that up on my home page. Please help and advise.

Hi George,
Instructions on enabling the Sight page slider can be found in the theme instructions here under “Featured Slider”:

In short, you’ll need to mark the post as “sticky” and enable a featured image. Instructions for both of those aspects can be found here:

It appears that your links are in regards to making blog posts “sticky” and adding a featured image in order to add them to a front page slider.
What I desire is to assign specific PAGES rather than posts to appear on my front page’s slider. How do I accomplish that Sir?

Currently, the Sight theme is only setup to display posts, not pages. It isn’t possible to set a page to display within the featured slider. Let me know if you need anything else!
