How do i set up a new home page instead of the recent news page?
I use wordpress.com
Blog url: http://thecatalystpartnership.wordpress.com/ -
With a default WordPress.com blog setup, the front page (“Home”) of your blog will display the latest posts. You can change this so readers see a static page instead, and see your posts on a different page.
Please review this guide on how to create a static front page.

Many thanks. Two questions?
1) Will my ‘Recent posts’ stay where it is and retain it’s functionality?
2) Will the second page I create show up on the blog?

Howdy,
Yes — your widgets, including the Recent Posts widget, won’t be affected by the change.
The second page should appear on your menu.

Trust me I won’t
I rarely praise but you guys do a great job of responding quickly. It’s great that one can ask a question, keep working on our blog and get answer from WP before the work is done.
I wish LinkedIn was as responsive. It’s going to frustrate a lot of companies etting up company pages.

One more question.
I want to use the welcome page more as an About us page so I won’t need the About us page. I know how to delete it. Will the link in the top menu disappear?
