How do I set up MS word so that I can blog using text and a single image?

I created a single blog post a little while ago with no success. After trying to use word, I gave up!
I’m not very computer literate and just want to post an image with some text.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

My suggestion would be to write your post directly from within the WordPress dashboard.
Here are a few links that I believe would be of benefit for you to look over. They will explain, and show, how to write a post and add images to it.
