How do I share a private blog with other who I want to be able to view it?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. You invite them as viewers via the Users ->Invite New section of the dashboard. Please note that the people you invite will have to register their own WordPress.com username accounts before they can accept your invitation. They don’t need to create their own blogs in order to register a username.

However, I try to do this I can’t find the option of doing it without the new user setting up a blog. Could you help?

On the signup screen where it asks you to pick a blog name, look for the link that says “Continue without creating a blog”. It is small and off to the side, but it’s there. If you click that it will complete the process of letting you create an account without having a blog.Once you’ve created the account and while logged into it, go back to the email invitation you received to view the blog. Then click on the confirmation link again.

Thanks for that, I knew it was possible as I’d done it before but just couldn’t find it.
Cheers

It’s hidden quite well, yes. I suppose the powers that be prefer people create blogs rather than just lurk around ;-)
