How do I share my blog with my dad?

  I know this is as user error, so I apologize in advance. My two boys and I are creating a family blog. We set the settings to private for safety. I can’t figure out how to share the blog with family. Do they need a wordpress account? I have been sharing http://www.fryfamily18.wordpress.com but they hit a screen asking for a user name and password. This is where we get stuck. Can you please help us get unstuck? thanks!

  Do they need a wordpress account?

  Yes

  Then you need to invite them into view the blog
