How do I shorten displayed posts?

  Hi there,

  How do I shorten my posts displayed when people land on my home page? I noticed some people have a ‘click here for more’ type note which shortens their post feed but have no idea where to find that in my settings.

  Also is there a way to specify how many posts are displayed on my home page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  a) Use the More tag: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

  b) Dashboard->Settings->Reading.
