How do I show a code on my sidebar as basic html?
-
Hi,
I want to put a code on my sidebar that is just text, not the thing. I want it so people can copy and paste the code. Can you help me?

I THINK YOU HAVE TO GO TO PRESENTATION, CLICK WIDGETS THEN MOVE THE TEXT WIDGET TO YOUR SIDEBAR. RIGHT CLICK AND ADD THE TEXT YOU WANT? LET ME KNOW IF THIS WORKS~

Use html entities See: http://codex.wordpress.org/Writing_Code_in_Your_Posts (this is a reference on how to write code on wordpress.org posts, it works also for wordpress.com blogs; here at wordpress.com you can add code to posts – but not to the sidebar – with a special tag: http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/09/03/how-do-i-post-source-code/ )
