How do I show archive posts by names in sidebar?

  I want to display a list of previous posts by NAME (not by month) in the sidebar. I found how to do what I want on a separate page if you want to look at my site http://www.tkthorne.wordpress.com See “Previous Posts” It is a list of titles with links. That what I want to display on my sidebar. Note: I tried [archives] in a text box and it did work.

  Thanks. This is not exactly what I was looking for (I wanted to just list them ALL by name) but I can make it work by directing people who want to see earlier posts to the page tab.

  It is interesting that this widget allows the excerpts to be visible. I always wondered what excerpts did!

  If you don’t require the excerpts show, the recent posts widget is another option.
