how do I show old posts only in archives

  Hi, I am a school teacher and use my blog to communicate with parents. I would like my posts from the past school year to show up only in the archives….letting me start fresh for the new school year. I have the Archive widget working, but I still see the posts as always.
  Thanks for any help you can give me.

  I’m afraid the Archive here is not configurable. I can’t really think of a workaround, either.

  Thank you. I might try to put all of the previous years’ posts on another page…although that seems tricky too.

  Maybe putting each year in it’s own Category then you could have a Static Page as your opening Page but using a Custom Menu so the Posts would be sorted based on a Year Category.

  I have not tried it but might work.
