How do I shut down my blog?

  I want to close my blog and I don’t know how . . .

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  We have instructions on how to delete blogs here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Alternately, you can set your site to private by going to the Dashboard and setting it to private under Settings > Reading. That way the site will still exist but no one can see it other than users on the blog.
