How do I sign up for a sub Domain?

  I know how to sign up for a primary Domain, but see nothing about Sub-Domains

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  Here are instructions for mapping subdomains at WordPress.com:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/

  Notice in the instructions that you must already own the root domain (ie. jmoore365.com), before you can map the subdomain.
