How do I start a blog?

  Hi There, I have a website already, I just want to start some blogging. I’m not sure what happens if I connect my website to WordPress. I would rather not. It there a way to just use the blog function?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi @chylton2010, you’re welcome to have a blog that’s completely separate from your site. You’d just start here and use another name:
  https://wordpress.com/support/start/

  Or, if you want to set up blog.yoursitename.com, you can do that:
  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-subdomain/
  Then you can link the two sites through their menus.

  Of course, one other option is to go ahead and import your entire site to our services, and just add a blog page that’s separate from the site. It sounds like you might not be interested in that, but if you want us to take a look at the feasibility, let us know.
