Hi there,
re: front page error messageNothing Found
It seems we cannot find what you are looking for. Perhaps try a search? There is nothing wrong with your site. By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the front page error message and searchbox that appears on every new WordPress.COM blog will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
For creating a post see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/#publish-a-new-post
For creating a page see here

I am not able to rearrange my pages on my menu. Even when I deleted the pages from the menu, they still appeared when I went to visit my site. Further, I could not rearrange the location of pictures in posts and/or pages. I am hoping you can help me simply start the blog over.

Please read this entry so you are clear on the differences
http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/re: changing the order of Pages, not Posts
There are two approaches.
1. If you have only pages in your horizontal menu and that’ is all you want in it see here to use numerical order. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-attributes/#order2. Creating a Custom Menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#creating-a-custom-menu
Adding Pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-pages
Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#changing-the-order-creating-sub-menusCustom menu Troubleshooting – My pages are in the wrong order
Check the sub-pages themselves to see if you have established a Parent page and child page “hierarchical structure” in the page attributes module. Remove if required. Also remove any “order” numbers you have assigned that may conflict with the order you are creating by dropping and dragging. Or simply change them so they are the same order as you establish in the menu. Establish consistency – problem solved.

There is no such thing as a reset button. You simply remove whatever you entered at:
Appearance > Header
Appearance > Background
Appearance > Theme Options (applicable only to some themes)
Settings > Reading (set a static front page)
Site Title and Tagline > Settings > GeneralOn the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the step by step Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/
