how do I start to edit my template once I'm logged in?

I’ve just purchased a template (Hatch) and can’t seem to start to edit. Very stuck. Please help. My email address is [removed]. Thanks Fiona
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Fiona,
What are you trying to edit? Hatch is a free theme, so it does not have a dedicated support forum, but setup instructions to make the site look like the demo (minus sample images and content) can be found here: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/hatch/
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for the information about editing. How do we go about moving our website address to lose the wordpress.com part? We’ve paid the premium required but not sure how to transfer over as our site is hosted by UK Web Solutions. Please help.

No problem. Is this for the domain homehouseramsgate.com? I see that you have added the domain mapping upgrade to your account under that URL.
If so, then you are almost there! What you will need to do is contact your domain registrar (http://www.enom.com) and ask for their help in updating your domain’s DNS settings to point to the following name servers:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
Once you have done that on the registrar’s side, you will want to go to Store>My Domains and set homehouseramsgate.com as your primary domain.
To learn more, or watch a short video on how to set up domain mapping, see: Add a Domain
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks very much for that. Can I ask – the upgrade we’ve paid for: does this mean word press hosts the site? Can we cancel our monthly fees to ukwebsolutions or do we still need them for the website to operate? I will email the wed address you gave me and get them to do as you’ve instructed. Really appreciate all your help.

Sorry – just to clarify: are you sure that enom.com is our registar? Is it not ukwebsolutions? We’ve never dealt with enom.com before. Thanks, Fiona

That is what I saw by looking up your public domain records here: http://who.is/whois/homehouseramsgate.com
Now, that said, ukwebsolutions may in fact be your registrar, and uses Enom to power their registrations, which is why I see it in your WHOIS record. I would contact ukwebsolutions for some clarification here.

Yes, that is what that means. This will become your hosted website, and the only change is that when we are done, it will say househomeramsgate.com instead.
http://fionalewishh.wordpress.com/You will want to be sure you have moved all your content to your WordPress.com site first, before switching your domain (you won’t be able to access it after that) and once you have mapped your domain to your WordPress.com site, you are safe to cancel your existing hosting plan.
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello again, I’ve amended ukwebsolutions to point to the wordpress name servers and have gone onto wordpress and updated http://www.homehouseramsgate.com as my primary domain. Do you know how long it’ll wait for everything to work under the web address as it’s saying the browser can’t find it at the minute (I have only literally done the primary domain change this second and also did the wordpress stuff on Wednesday so apologies for my impatience if it takes time). Thanks in advance, Fiona

Hi there,
Looks as if you may have added the mapping to the wrong site, which is an easy mistake to make, as I see you have a few sites on your account. This is what I see when I check http://homehouseramsgate.com/
Did you not want this site (and it’s content) to use that custom domain instead?
Let me know, and I can help get you sorted out. :)

So you’re having problems – is there anything else we can do to help? We really need the site up and running as soon as possible. Is it not possible to remove the site with nothing on it and then redirect homehouseramsgate.com to the fionalewishh.wordpress.com site. It’s going to damage our business if the homehouseramsgate.com directs people to the non-site with a title and ‘nothing found’. We would’ve left the web address with our old website had we have known as the homehouseramsgate.com is on lots of our correspondence. Please let us know options – very frustrating as the site is built, looking lovely and ready to go on fionalewishh.wordpress.com. All help to resolve this very much appreciated. Thanks Fiona

The mapping for homehouseramsgate.com has been moved from househomeramsgate.comoworpress.com to fionalewishh.wordpress.com
If you visit fionalewishh.wordpress.com, you will see the site at http://homehouseramsgate.com/
Please note that it can be a few minutes or hours until a domain change like that is updated on the internet. To be safe, I visited your site, and your domain appears to be working properly. Here is a screenshot of what I see at your domain:
To explain, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain change is updated world-wide. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors” or a blank white screen.
Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your internet service provider updates their records. Please rest assured that everything is proceeding normally with your domain.
If you still have trouble viewing the site after 72 hours has passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies:
If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache:

Please let me know if you have any more questions.
