How do I start transferring my site from wordpress.com to wordpress.org?

  Hi I would like to transfer my site from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

  i’ve tried to export and then import before but it does not get imported as it is. also, i want to keep my url. I hope you can help me. Thanks!

  You can definitely keep your domain, you can point it at your new host via nameservers (http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/) or you can transfer the domain to a different registrar (http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/).
