How do i stop a more tag from jumping to the middle of my post?

    Can you show me which post this is happening in? I just checked your most recent post: A Little Secret and everything was working as it should.

    Hi,

    It happens with all posts i added a more tag to. A reader clicks on the tag to see the full post and ends up in the middle of the post instead of at the top of it. Reader then has to scroll up to the top of the post. Just had my husband try it and same thing.

    This is how it should be working. Can you show me where it’s starting at after you click Read More?

    I’ve watched your film and that’s exactly what happens when i click thr more tag: it goes to the middle of the post.

    I want it yo go to the very top of the post. Having to scroll upwards first is annoying.

    Unfortunately the point of the More Tag is to have the post continue after the Read More link. Please take a look at the link for more information.

    If you don’t want it to do that, you can create an Excerpt instead. That will do what you are looking for. Take a look at the guide for further instructions.

    The more tag actually jumps even further below than where the link is added. I would have no problem with it if it actually did jump to right after where i inserted it.

    I’ll have another look at excerpts but the problem i have with those is that they don’t work when you look at the post under it’s categorie :-(.

    Are you currently logged in? If it’s a bit lower it’s caused by your admin bar at the top. Try logging out and see if it loads right after your Read More link.
