How do I stop getting a deluge of WordPress messages?

  I made a comment in one WordPress forum. Now I am getting deluged with messages every few minutes from pages I never looked at. How can I stop this? The ‘Unsubscribe’ link does nothing.

  Hi, our servers haven’t sent you any mail for the past week, except notification of this post and a password reset email.

  Can you confirm what email addresses these messages are being sent to and from? If you’ll type them here, they will be hidden from public view so only staff can see them. And we can use that to look for more information.

  Thanks! I use two addresses
  (email visible only to moderators and staff) seems to be the one getting all the messages. They are coming from “Tech Junkie”

  First, make sure you’re logged out of WordPress.com. This email address is separate from your account, so if you’re logged in, you’ll just get subscription settings for your account.

  Once logged out, the Unsubscribe link will work.

  If not, stay logged out, visit https://subscribe.wordpress.com and enter the email address, and you’ll be sent a link to manage your subscriptions.
