How do I stop my bio from appearing when I post on a shared blog site?
-
How to remove bio when posting to secondary blog? I’m an administrator on a second blog site, http://bikefriendlywindsor.com/ , and when I post an update my bio from my own blog http://lorinewton.com/ automatically appears after my post. Other administrators (who don’t have WordPress blogs of their own) don’t have this problem. Thanks, lori
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is likely being pulled from you Gravatar account. Unfortunately there is no way to make that disappear from just one site since it is tied to your email address.
You could set up a second username/account here and then use a different email address and not tie that email into your existing Gravatar account.

Thanks for the feedback, not what I wanted to hear but have tried every which work around I can think of.

Actually it’s being pulled form here > Users > My Profile > About me and displayed on the gravatar profile, as well as, on the very few themes we have that do display author profiles. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/08/15/author-displayed-or-not/

Thanks @timethief, I deleted all my profile info and it solved the issue – at least until I can figure out a better work around.

Maybe you could talk the blog owner into using a theme that does not display an author profile. There are very few that do have that feature.

Now that is really good to know. I’m an administrator and could recommend a change. Thanks again.
