How do I stop my site reverting to a previous version?

  • Unknown's avatar

My site seems to flip between two versions. One contains only some old content and uses the TwentyTwelve theme. The other, one which I have invested quite a lot of time and contains all the current content uses the TwentyEleven theme. It has done this a couple of times now, fortunately so far it is eventually, at least a few hours and a couple of PC reboots later, reverted to the version that I want to keep and build. I thought it had settled down with the right version, but it has just flipped back again. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!

It is now over three days since I posted my question and my site continues to flip between the two versions.

I am beginning to lose faith in WordPress! Where are the promised Happiness Engineers?

I was all set to upgrade when this started happening – at the moment I am very pleased I didn’t. However, I really would like to use the WordPress platform if only it could demonstrate some basic stability.

    Hi Tom,

I’m so sorry about the delay! We’ve been having an issue with duplicate blogs (which has been fixed), but I do see that you have deleted one of the blogs. This should have fixed the problem.

Again, so sorry for the inconvenience. Just a heads up if you open up a new thread (if possible, do not add another post as it will move the thread to the bottom of the queue).

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
