How do I stop notifications from follow up comments for a specific thread?

I commented on what I thought was a news site, I swear I didn’t offend anybody, then I realized it’s an extremist white supremacist blog and even when I didn’t check the “notify me on follow up comments” checkbox, I’m getting a ton of hate comments against me and my phone keeps sending me push notifications of every single one. I don’t know how to stop it other than turning off the push notifications, but then I won’t get the notifications from my actual blogs, which I’m interested in getting.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

At the bottom of the emails you should see a link to modify your subscription options. Click that and you should be able to unsubscribe from the emails about that comment thread without turning everything else off too.

Thank you andyjbell, I might have not make myself clear, I’m not getting any emails, I didn’t check the box to get the emails so my only problem are the notifications I get on my phone and on my feed. I don’t see a way to “unsubscribe” or “unfollow” a specific thread so that’s why I’m asking for help here.
My problem is not getting emails, my problem is I keep getting updates on my feed on the app, and getting push notifications every time someone replies to the comments I made. That’s why I said that if I turn off the push notifications on the phone, I won’t be getting the ones that I actually care about.
Does anybody know how to do this?

You may want to post which platform you’re using (iOS or Android), because the features and processes for each app can be different. You may also want to search the help forums for the individual apps and see if your question has already been answered there.

Just as a final question, do you know if I can actually ‘unsubscribe’ or ‘stop following’ a thread? the issue is not with my blog, it’s some other blog that I commented on, or is there a way to delete my comments? anything to make this people stop going at me with their racist nonsense… It hasn’t stopped since yesterday morning.
