How do I stop receiving expired domain subscription message?
-
I’ve transferred my domain elsewhere before the expiration date and now I keep seeing the message “Your blog uses a domain subscription that has expired. Please visit your My Upgrades page to renew.” How do I stop receiving this message?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Michael,
There are two pieces of having a domain with your WordPress.com site—registration and mapping. When registering a site at WordPress.com, both pieces are part of the package. When using a domain name not registered at WordPress.com, the domain mapping upgrade is needed to connect your domain to your WordPress.com site.
The reminder that you’re seeing now is for the domain mapping piece, which is still required to be renewed if you’re continuing with your WordPress.com site using your domain at canningnovascotia.com
If you have any other questions or need anything else, please let me know.
Thanks!

Hi Kraftbj,
I appreciate your response. I no longer need nor want the mapping either, so what must I do to stop the notifications?
Thank you and kind regards,
Michael -
Howdy,
I’ve removed the expired domain mapping subscription from your account, so you won’t see notifications or get notices moving forward.
Please note that your site at http://canningnovascotia.com/ is now inaccessible.
Cheers!

Thanks. How come my domain forwarding doesn’t work now?
Can you please restore whatever it was you changed because now my site is unavailable. Can I just pay for the “mapping,” seeing that I have my domain registered elsewhere?
