How do I stop renewing my subscription but still make sure my website is secure?

    Quick question. I just got an email from wordpress.com saying that my WordPress membership will renew on November 15th. I don’t want to renew, but I am a bit scared to do anything on the dashboard because I don’t want to make a mistake and accidentally delete my blog even though I have transferred it to Square Space. Any help would be much appreciated.
