How do I stop self-pingback?

  I have links between my own posts within one blog. I want to stop the self-ping back so they don’t show in comments. I tried the way you suggested, by shortening the URL by removing the domain name and http://. But it stills shows up in the comments.

  At Settings -> Discussion in your blog’s Dashboard, uncheck “Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article.”

  I did that uncheck. Doesn’t solve the problem either.
  Can you pls take a look at my blog? Out of the 5 comments, 4 of them are self-pingback.

  Well, unchecking that isn’t going to remove the existing pingbacks. You’ll need to delete those manually like you would with comments.

  The option prevents it from happening in the future.
