You can’t as you have no control over that. If any of your followers want to stop receiving email notifications they have to cancel it themselves from their subscription settings.

wow! Thank you for your comment. I did not know that emails are pushed to all subscribers. It can be very annoying to the subscriber. I realize they can control it themselves, but seems to me they should not have to do that. Seems very intrusive.

In fact, they aren’t. Subscribers will only receive email if they specifically signed up for it, which always also includes a confirmation email with a link subscribers must click before they will start receiving notifications. If any of your subscribers are receiving post notifications it’s because they requested it and only they have the ability to also cancel that request.
