how do i stop the featured image being displayed twice on the home page?
-
How do I get the featured image to display on the front page only once, on the right hand side, the top level with page title as shown on:
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentytwelve/
At the moment if I add a featured image it displays twice and pushed the homepage text under one of the images, leaving a column empty under the other one. if i put the image in the page content it only aligns with the top of the text, not the top of the title. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your blog is private and we Volunteers cannot view private blogs. My guess is that you not only set a featured image but also inserted the same image into the post as well. -

I only see one featured image at http://vividregeneration.wordpress.com/
Would you please try clearing your browser’s cache?

Hello. This has magically fixed itself as per ludajim’s post. I hadn’t put the image in a post and also set a featured image, so I assume there was a problem with the template which a developer has now fixed. this is a bit worrying as it means that it could also get unfixed – I am working on this site for a client and I’m not happy with it fixing and unfixing itself with no notice!

@vividregeneration: Yes, WP is changing something in the themes, and this created a bug in the appearance of some themes (including the doubled image issue on 2012, which was fixed when users reported it). Such accidents are bound to happen again, as WP changes things all the time.
