How do I suspend my website?

  I need to do some work on my website, but I need it to be ‘unavailable’ for some time. Is this possible? To make it dormant, or something?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can use the privacy settings available on WordPress.com to make your WordPress.com site private. When it’s made private, only you will be able to see your live site, and others whom you invite to view.
