How do I switch domain names

  Help! I would like for my main blog to have a specific title. I tried to change it to this, but ended up creating a second blog with no content, and said title, that I can’t delete without losing access to the URL name permanently. I want to switch these two but obviously, when I try to switch one to the other, I can’t because both URLs are already in use.

  Is there a batch edit or some sort of way to switch these at the same time? My other options seem to involve adding yet another blog over and over, or losing access to my the URL I want.

  I suggest you keep the url you want and move your content from the blog at the unwanted url.

  You can export your content from the blog at unwanted url and import it to the blog at the new url.

  Please read the export and import instructions carefully to understand the process.

  Hi! Thanks so much for responding. This seems to have worked, however I’m a little confused.

  Some of the comments transferred, but some did not. Is there a way for all the comments (and additionally, follows and likes?) to be transferred over as well?

  Ideally all comments should be transferred.

  Followers and Likes can’t be exported and hence can’t be imported. I suggest you write to support@wordpress.com to check if staff can transfer these items for you.
