How do I switch to wordpress.org
-
Hi. I started off correctly and ended up on wordpress.com. I created a domain name with godaddy, set up an account with hostgator, installed wordpress.org from hostgator and then I was lost. So instead of going directly to the link and setting up wordpress.org, I signed into wordpress.com and made sure my domain name that I created with godaddy was the primary path, of which it cost me $18.00. This was done four days ago and I just realized that I may be on a free wordpress and still am charged monthly from hostgator. Is my blog a self hosted site or is it a wordpress hosted service? Ohhh, I also purchased a premium design because I had no options for custom. How do I fix this mess? Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Currently your domain simplysaiddesignexpressions.com is registered at WordPress.com, but it points to your hosting at Hostgator.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
Please check out the following links to learn the differences.
You can either choose to reset the nameservers of your domain so it points back to your WordPress.com blog, or keep it hosted at Hostgator.
