How do I tag my entire blog (not individual posts)?

Hi, my posts all focus on the same topic and I would like to tag my blog as a whole rather than add a category/tag to each post. Ho do I do that?

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t do that, technically speaking, but what you can do is set a default Category for your blog, so if you don’t have any Categories it’s always going to post in that Category.

Right now you have one: Uncategorized. You can change that under Dashboard->Settings->Writing and just type in whatever Category you want.

You can’t do the same with tags.

    Go to Dashboard >

Posts > Categories > Here add your main category for your blog. (If you haven’t already)

    Now Go to

Settings > Writing > Here set your Default Post Category.

    Done!

From now on this category shall be selected by default, each time you create a new post. :ô)

Actually there is a shortcut. Go to posts > categories and rename the “uncategorized” category to a name of your choosing and save. The default category will update, and all existing “uncategorized” categories on all your posts will update to the new name.
