Hi, @scillyspid. Staff here.
I see you mentioned trying to find how to log in to scillyspider2.wordpress.com. Is that right?
If yes, the first thing you need to do is to log our of this account (@scillyspid, which is connected to another email), and then log back in using the original one you used to create the site.
If for any reason you can’t remember your original WordPress.com username or the password you used, the best thing to do is to follow the steps below:
When you are unable to log into your WordPress.com account, you have a few options to regain access to your account. In this guide, you will learn how to restore your login access. n the free WordPress.com plan, there is no way to talk to a human support agent. Human support (chat or email) is only available on paid plans.
If you don’t have access to the account email and the site is unpublished, recovery options are very limited. Your only guaranteed option is to create a new account using the correct email address.

I do have a paid plan. That’s what I can’t understand why no one can help me who are connected to WordPress

Hi @scillyspid ,
WordPress.com staff here.
I can see that you do have a paid plan, but it is attached to the site under a different email address.
Please log in to WordPress.com using the email associated with that paid plan, then follow the steps here to contact our support team directly:
https://wordpress.com/support/help-support-options/#how-to-contact-usOnce you are logged in with the correct email, you should see the available contact options right away.
If you are not sure which email is tied to the plan, let me know and I can help you narrow that down. -
Thanks but still not getting to my blog. Where did this username come from? I never created and it just popped up from nowhere in the last month

I do have a paid plan
But the paid plan clearly isn’t associated with this new luminarysoftly2153f6c47d account that was created (by WordPress.com for you) when you logged in recently as if you were a brand new user. You obviously have multiple email addresses.
Is scillyspider2.wordpress.com the site you’re trying to reach? Is benharper10 your username there?
-
I understand how confusing this situation can be, especially when you see a username you don’t remember creating, such as luminarysoftly2153f6c47d.
Sometimes when WordPress.com automatically generates a username (using third-party sign-in providers), the username may look unfamiliar even though it’s correctly tied to one of your email addresses.
Regarding access to your site: if you don’t remember the exact username, email address, or password used when the site was created, the best next step is to use our account recovery form here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Once you’re logged into the correct account (the one associated with your paid plan and site), you’ll have 24/7 access to our Happiness Engineers directly from your site’s dashboard.
If you have any questions while going through the recovery steps or run into any issues, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help further.

Hi At the end of my blog posts at the bottom is this ‘My name is Anna Möller and these are some of my photo projects’ I didn’t write that Where has it come from? You can find it here on my blog if you scroll down to the end https://scillyspider2.wordpress.com/page/2/
-
Hi @luminarysoftly2153f6c47d,
Thank you for sharing the link and pointing out the unexpected heading at the end of your blog posts. That heading, “My name is Anna Möller and these are some of my photo projects,” was likely added to your homepage during editing. You can remove it by following these steps:
1. Go to your WordPress.com dashboard.
2. Navigate to Appearance > Editor.
3. Click on the Home page to begin editing.
4. Scroll down through the content to locate that heading.
5. Delete the text and update/save the page.
If you still have trouble getting access to your account, please fill the form shared above and then we will help with the recovery.

I’ve tried every option and I can’t get into my own blog. I can’t understand why my username and password were changed? Is there any other option? If not, can I have a refund?
-
I completely understand how frustrating this is, especially when you feel like you’ve tried everything.
To clarify what is happening: The username you are currently seeing (
luminarysoftly...) indicates that you are logged into a brand new, empty account, likely created by accident. This is why you cannot see your site or your paid plan, they are safely inside your original account, which remains unchanged. The Solution: Since you mentioned you have a paid plan, the fastest way to resolve this is to use your payment information to verify your identity.
- Go to the Account Recovery Form: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
- Select “I don’t know my email or username” if prompted, or simply proceed to the proof section.
- Look for the Transaction ID field. You can find this number on your bank or PayPal statement next to the charge (it often appears as
WPCHRG.COMorPAYPAL *WORDPRESSfollowed by a code). - Submit the form.
Why this helps: Submitting this form with your Transaction ID does two things:
- It proves you are the owner of the paid account without needing the email or password.
- It instantly creates a private, secure ticket with our staff.
Once you submit that form, our team can talk to you privately to help you regain access or address your refund request in accordance with our policies.
-
thanks for your help. I went to bank details and put in the reference from my account of when brought the plan and still.it won’t let me get into my blog. Please can someone help me?

Try again but first make sure you are logged out of this wrong account.
How many email addresses do you own? Have you tried them all???
