How do I transfer a domain name from Bluehost to WordPress
-
I cannot find on any of the forms how to transfer a domain name registered at Bluehost to wordpress.com. Can you provide instructions on how to do this? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
We don’t accept incoming domain transfers at the moment so you will not be able to transfer a domain registered with Bluehost to WordPress.com. You can, however, map that domain as explained here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
The registration would still be at Bluehost, but you could use the domain with WordPress.com. Would that work?

Hello,
I was hoping that domain name would be my main blog, and I could map other domain names to it. Guess the easiest thing to do would be to let that domain name expire, the start anew with it next year on WordPress.I guess in the mean time, I could map it to WordPress.
Thanks for your help!

I wouldn’t recommend letting your domain name expire. Domain expirations are a lengthy process. When you let a domain name expire, it can take 3-4 months before the domain is available again for registration. I would really recommend mapping the domain to WordPress.com and keeping the registration active at Bluehost!
