It looks like the domain doesn’t transfer with the site. According to the support page. “The one exception is any custom domains you have on your account. Because of the way in which domain registrations are regulated by ICANN, these transfers must be handled manually, and you will be contacted by a member of staff to help you directly.”
I’m unable to find information on how to contact support to proceed.

I have the exact same issue, I need to move one of my blogs poccacapecod.org to a new account that will be owned by my friend for whom I did the blog under my account just to get started, but for whom ownership is now important, and it’s a custom domain, and it has other details I have questions about, hopefully you can help me out too:)

I’m sorry, I used the wrong account to post the above message—I have separate accounts, so sorry, the account I need help with is gilliandrake.com and the blog that needs to be moved is poccacapecod.org.

I’m not quite sure I understand here. Both gilliandrake.com and poccacapecod.org are domains on your account. Could you let me know exactly what you’re trying to accomplish?

yes both domains gilliandrake.com and poccacapecod.org are in my account, but poccacapecod.org wants to have its own account at this time.
I read the info on transferring ownership of a blog, but it looks like the fact that poccacapecod.org is a custom domain requires some tech assistance? sorry about the confusion. thanks for being there! -
