how do I transfer a mapped domain of a removed site?

  Hi all,
  I’m having the following problem, I have removed the site “lgguitarschoolnederlands.wordpress.com” following the procedure that asks you several times, included an email as confirmation.
  My problem is that I later noticed that my domain “lgguitaschool.nl” was still mapped to “lgguitarschoolnederlands.wordpress.com”, and I’m not able to Transfer it to another wordpress blog (same account).
  I select “Transfer Domain” from the Upgrade panel, I select any of the other Blog I have, but the transfer actually doesn’t happen.
  Also, despite being removed, the domain lgguitarschool.nl still points to the old (and removed) wordpress blog.

  Can you guys help me? This is quite a tricky situation I can’t resolvw.

  Hello,
  thanks for your answer.
  I actually did solve the problem, which basically consisted in removing the wordpress nameservers from the DNS panel of my registrar, and after 24 hours I could correctly re-utilize my own domain and having it pointing where needed.
